Altus man creates spectacular Christmas light and music display

Altus_An Altus man is lighting up the lives of people in his community and he's using 63,000 lights on his house to do it.  Every night from 6 to 10, Chris Hargis puts on his own light show, synched with music.  When you drive by the house, all you have to do is tune your radio station to 99.7 and you can hear the music and look at the lights.

Hargis said his wife inspired him to put together the project three years ago after she showed him a video on the internet of a huge Christmas light and music display. "My wife sent that to me and said, 'Can you do something like this?' and I said, 'Yeah'. She said do it."

After New Year's Day, he takes all the lights down.  The fastest he's ever gotten them all down was 2 hours.
