Boyfriend sought in El Reno slayings

EL RENO, Okla. (AP) - An El Reno woman and her four children were killed in their apartment and authorities are looking for the woman's 25-year-old boyfriend as a suspect.

Joshua Steven Durcho of El Reno is believed to be driving the woman's missing 1989 white Ford Thunderbird.

The victims are identified as 25-year-old Summer Garas, her daughters 7-year-old Kirsten Rust; 6-year-old Autumn Rust; and 3-year-old Evynn Garas; and her 4-year-old son Teagin Rust.

An El Reno police officer sent to check on the welfare of the family found the five bodies shortly after 4 yesterday afternoon.

Durcho was caught on surveillance video at a truck stop in Clinton about 60 miles west of Oklahoma City at 9:30 last night.

Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation spokeswoman Jessica Brown says the five were not shot or stabbed but would not release information on a possible cause of death pending autopsies.

Prison records show Durcho was convicted of car theft as a juvenile and later served nearly four years in prison for marijuana possession.
