Oklahoma Police Lawsuit

If an on-duty officer acts out-of-conduct, the city can be sued.

That's according to a new ruling by the Oklahoma Supreme Court.  The ruling says cities can now be held liable for damages caused by an on-duty police officer.

Justices on the state's highest court voted 4-2 in favor of the ruling.

It comes from a case out of Oklahoma City in 2006. That's where officers removed customers from a nightclub using mace and dogs.
