Texas man brought to Okla. to face murder charge

Oklahoma City_A Texas man has been extradited to Oklahoma to face a charge of second-degree murder in the death of a 16-year-old girl killed in a high-speed car crash.

Joshua Lamar Dockins of Wichita Falls, Texas, was brought to the Oklahoma County jail and booked without bail Wednesday.

In addition to the murder count, the 23-year-old Dockins is charged with leaving the scene of a fatality accident and causing an injury accident while driving under the influence of alcohol.

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper claims in an affidavit that Dockins was driving more than 100 mph before his car rear-ended another car on Interstate 35 in November. Brittany Althoff of Oklahoma City, who was riding in the back seat of the other car, was killed in the crash.
