Four arrested following WF drive-by

Wichita Falls_Press Release_Officers of the Wichita Falls Police Department's Gang Task Force have arrested four men for a drive-by shooting that happened overnight. No one was injured in the shooting, which was witnessed by one of the Officers.

In custody are Eric Trevino, Christopher Hale, Francis Rodriguez, and Joseph Figueroa. The men were taken into custody when their vehicle crashed on the City's north side.

At 2:30 a.m., an Officer saw a white Chevrolet Caprice stop in front of a house at 2128 Avenue G. Three of the men exited the vehicle and approached the home. Multiple rounds were fired at the residence. The men the returned to the car and fled from Police. After crossing the downtown area, the vehicle lost control and struck a pole. All four men attempted to run on foot, but all were captured. Officers recovered three firearms. The suspect vehicle was impounded.

    The men face the following charges:

  

     Hale -         Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity/Deadly Conduct

                        Evading Arrest/Vehicle (felony)

                        Evading Arrest/On foot (misdemeanor)

  

  

  

Figueroa -       Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity/Deadly Conduct

                        Evading Arrest/On foot (misdemeanor)

                        Warrant - Fugitive/Possession of Dangerous Drug

                        Warrant - Minor in Possession of Alcohol

                        Warrant - Possession of Fireworks in City Limits

  

Trevino -         Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity/Deadly Conduct

                        Evading Arrest/On foot (misdemeanor)

  

Rodriguez -     Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity/Deadly Conduct

                        Evading Arrest/On foot (misdemeanor)

                        Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon
