First Alert Forecast

Some changes are afoot later this week, but for now another hot and humid day is in store. Temps this morning are in the low 70s. We’re back in the mid 90s this afternoon under mostly sunny skies. South winds gust up to 20 mph and it will again feel like the upper 90s due to the amount of moisture in the air.

While some of us are sick of this humidity, tropical moisture will enhance our rain chances starting late Thursday. Rain arrives overnight and moves into Texoma throughout the day on Friday. Up to four inches of rain could be possible for some across the region. Most have a good shot of seeing one to three inches of rain. Temps Friday stay in the low 80s before we fall into the low 70s Saturday with the arrival of the cold front. More rain is expected Saturday before we start clearing out into Sunday. Mostly cloudy skies and more 70s will be possible Sunday afternoon.

Cloud cover thins out Monday and temps climb back into the mid 80s. More 80s are with us Tuesday before more cold fronts are on the way next Tuesday and Thursday. High temps could drop into the 70s for next week!
