LAWTON, OK (RNN Texoma) - The students in the Lawton Public Schools Transition program will be spreading cheer this holiday season by Christmas Caroling.
LPS board members and workers at the John Shoemaker Center got a dose of good tiding Friday when around 30 kids and 17 staff members from the transition program serenaded them.
“I just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas from the Lawton Transition Program. We have five or six other dates around town. Ten Oaks, McMahon Tomlinson, just different places. If ya’ll want to come out, it’s free to the public. Come check the Lawton Transition program out,” said John Davis, Job Coach for the LPS Transition Program.
The students plan to continue to spread holiday cheer. Their next performance will be Monday at 9:30 at the Lawton Fort Sill Veterans Center.
