WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - The Wichita Falls Police Department is expected to make a few comments on the investigation into the death of Wilder McDaniel on Thursday.

The toddler was pronounced dead on October 11, 2018. On Wednesday afternoon, officials confirmed to the local media that WFPD Chief Manuel Borrego would speak to the media regarding the ongoing investigation on Thursday morning.

At last check, the WFPD said they were still awaiting the autopsy results for the two-year-old boy. Officials said on Wednesday there is no new information to release on the investigation. Be sure to stay with News Channel 6 as we continue to follow the latest developments.
