ALTUS AIR FORCE BASE, OK (TNN) - Officials with the Altus Air Force Base have announced the arrival date for the incoming KC-46A Pegasus aircraft.
The 97th Air Mobility Wing will welcome in the new plane in a delivery ceremony on February 8th.
The Air Force announced that the Altus Air Force Base would be the training location for the KC-46 back in 2014. The Base will train aircrew, maintenance and support personnel for the KC-46, which specializes in airborne refueling.
The plane will be able to carry over 200,000 pounds of fuel, along with up to 65,000 pounds of cargo.
