LAWTON, OK (TNN) - Near or slightly above seasonable highs will be the rule along with a good chance of rain at the end of the week.
Increasing clouds this evening into tonight with temperatures falling into the low 40s by 8PM and low 30s by morning. Mostly cloudy tomorrow with breezy southeast winds and highs in the upper 50s. Clouds will hang tough through Friday morning and there is a chance of fog. Lows in the upper 30s.
Our next storm system will approach Friday, bringing a chance of scattered showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Highs in the mid 50s. Another round of showers & storms is likely Friday night, ending early Saturday morning. Lows in the upper 40s. A dryline and cold front will sweep through Saturday morning, clearing us out but also causing winds to increase. West to northwest winds could gust to 40-45 mph, leading to elevated to high fire danger. Highs on Saturday in the low 60s.
Sunny on Sunday and seasonable with lows near 30 and highs in the upper 50s. Partly cloudy and mild Monday & Tuesday. Highs in the low 60s and lows in the mid to upper 30s. A cold front may arrive by late Tuesday or Wednesday, bringing cooler temperatures towards the middle of next week.
