LAWTON, OK (TNN) - Seniors at the Center for Creative Living in Lawton celebrated Taco Tuesday with a little Oklahoma flair.
The Center for Creative Living Indian Taco Fundraiser is used to raise money for their nutrition program.
“All of the proceeds are going to benefit our senior nutrition program that we have on Wednesdays and Fridays for those age 55 and older,” said Executive Director for the Center for Creative Living Lorene Miller.
This is the 4th year that they’ve held the Indian Taco Fundraiser and they plan to serve 500 people by 6 p.m Tuesday.
They sold the Indian tacos for $7 each. They also did take out orders, and delivered any local orders of 10 or more tacos.
The Senior Center for Creative Living is on 3501 Elsie Hamm Drive. You can call 580-248-0471 for more information.
