Search Warrant leads to methamphetamine arrest

WICHITA FALLS, TX (TNN) - Wichita County Sheriff Deputies along with members of the District Attorney’s Drug Enforcement Division executed a search warrant, Monday, that led to the arrest of a Wichita Falls man.

Court documents say the search and arrest warrants were executed at around 9:45 Monday morning at the Sun Valley Apartments, 1329 Central Freeway.

Deputies say Tommy Lynn Hollingsworth was inside the master bedroom when deputies entered the apartment.

Hollingsworth cooperated with investigators, pointing them to hidden drugs, weapons and cash inside the apartment. Deputies say around 6.4 grams of methamphetamine, a loaded 12 gauge shotgun and around $1,400 in cash were found.

Court documents say Hollingsworth admitted he sold methamphetamine from the apartment.

Hollingsworth was booked into the Wichita County Jail on charges of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine.

As of Wednesday afternoon, He remains in the jail with a bond of $25,000.
