LAWTON, OK (TNN) -Good morning Texoma! As you head out the door don't forget the heavier coat. Temperatures this morning will be in the mid to upper 40s with feel like temperatures in the 30s. Strong winds out of the northwest will stick with us throughout the day sitting between 15-30mph with gusts to 40. We will still have plenty of sunshine this afternoon and high temperatures will be in the low to mid 60s. Fire danger remains on the higher side this afternoon as well. Overnight lows heading into Friday will be even cooler than this morning. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 30s. Highs tomorrow afternoon will be in the mid 60s.
Rain chances return for everyone in the viewing area Saturday morning through the early morning hours Sunday. Rain accumulations of 1-1.5 inches are possible. We are not tracking any threat for severe weather, but a few rumbles of thunder can't be ruled out. High temperatures on Saturday will only be in the lower 50s.
Sunday, conditions will clear and sunshine will return with temperatures in the low to mid 60s. High temperatures in the 80s return on Monday and Tuesday. A few storm chances look possible next Wednesday with highs in the mid 70s.
