LAWTON, OK (TNN) - Good afternoon Texoma! Lots of rain and very strong winds are still impacting most places in the viewing area. There is a High Wind Warning in effect until this evening for most of out central and east central Texoma counties. Tree and power line damage are likely. Low laying roadways could have flooding, especially near creeks and rivers. Make sure to watch for water over the roads especially at night, and remember to turn and don’t drown. We will finally see the wind calm down and the rain move out around midnight. Low temperatures tomorrow morning will be in the mid 30s.
As we wrap up the weekend temperatures will warm into the mid 60s under sunny skies.
Monday and Tuesday temperatures will be back into the low 80s. Monday will be mostly sunny, and Tuesday mostly cloudy. A few rain and isolated storm chances are possible Wednesday, primarily for counties along I-35.
Thursday and Friday lots of sunshine will return and temperatures will be in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Dry weather will accompany us into next weekend with lots of sunshine expected and temperatures in the upper 70s.
