LAWTON, OK (TNN) -Warm temperatures leading up to our next storm chance, which will be here Wednesday.
A few clouds will move in tonight as lows drop into the mid 50s. Another windy and warm day tomorrow but skies will become mostly cloudy. Temperatures rising into the upper 60s by noon with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Skies will remain mostly cloudy tomorrow night as lows drop into the low 60s.
A dryline and cold front will be positioned in the area on Wednesday at the same time upper level energy approaches from the west. Scattered storms are possible, especially during the late afternoon through the overnight. There is a severe threat, especially central to eastern Texoma. Very large hail and damaging winds possible and an isolated tornado threat exists. Highs around 80.
A cold front will clean us out by Thursday morning and skies will become mostly sunny. Highs in the upper 60s with gusty northwest winds. Quiet and nice on Friday with sunshine, a northwest breeze, and highs in the mid 70s. Lows in the mid 40s. Easter weekend looks warm and nice. Expect lots of sunshine and highs in the 80s. A storm system could bring in another storm chance on Monday.
