Sunshine will stick around through Thursday

LAWTON, OK (TNN) -Good morning Texoma! As you head out the door this morning you may want the light jacket, but you will not need it for long. A lot of places are are seeing temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. Going through the morning, by 10AM temperatures will be around 69 and noon 76. Highs today will be in the low to mid 80s under sunny skies. Take advantage of the nice and dry weather today, tomorrow, and Thursday.

Tomorrow and Thursday, more sunshine is expected and high temperatures will be around 86 degrees. Winds will gradually increase out of the south, sitting at 15-25mph, by Thursday afternoon. Even stronger winds out of the south at 20-30mph are expected Friday afternoon. A few more clouds look to build in by Friday evening ahead of rain and storm chances. Some of those storms could be on the strong to severe side, and last through Saturday morning.

Saturday another round of strong to severe storms are possible by late morning to early afternoon. The severe threat will move east throughout the afternoon. We will begin to see a few clouds clear and some sunshine return before sunset on Saturday. Sunday will be a great end to the weekend with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid 80s.
