LAWTON, Okla. (TNN) - Senator and Democratic presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders, is scheduled to be in Lawton on Sunday, September 22, where he will address the Comanche Nation Fair Powwow.
Before heading to Lawton, Senator Sanders will hold a rally in Norman.
This will be Senator Sanders’ first visit to Oklahoma during the 2020 campaign. Although he’s only in Oklahoma for the day, the presidential hopeful will get to be fully immersed in the state’s native culture and history.
The event will be held at the Comanche Nation Complex at 584 N. W. Bingo Rd in Lawton.
For Senator Sanders’ address Sunday evening, the doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the event will start at 7:00 p.m.
This event is free and open to the public.
