LAWTON, Okla. (TNN) -Good morning Texoma!
It is another cold morning throughout Texoma with most places in the upper 20s to lower 30s. Winds out of the north are keeping feel like temperatures well into the 20s. This afternoon will be very comparable to yesterday with lots of sunshine and temperatures in the lower 50s.
Warm southerly winds return tomorrow, and those should help us hit high temperatures in the upper 50s to lower 60s. It will be a beautiful end to the week.
Saturday morning lots of cloud cover will move in, but as winds hold strong out of the south temperatures will still be able to peak in the lower 60s. Sunday morning a cold front will move in out of the northwest. This front will interact with moisture that builds in Saturday, and spark a few showers along the Red River and northward. Overall, rain chances still remain low due to the limited moisture moving in. Showers and cloud cover should clear by 8PM. High temperatures Sunday will be in the mid 50s.
Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week will be a lot warmer with high temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. The next best chance for a few showers here in Texoma will be next Wednesday night into Thursday.
