LAWTON, Okla. (TNN) - Roller-coaster temperatures will be the story into next week as another cold front moves towards Texoma.
A few clouds this evening through tonight but winds will be light. Temperatures will drop into the low 40s by 9PM and low 30s by morning. Partly cloudy to mostly cloudy tomorrow with breezy south winds and highs in the mid 50s. Becoming mostly cloudy on Sunday but it will be mild thanks to south to southwest winds. Highs in the mid to upper 60s.
A cold front will swing through Texoma Monday afternoon, bringing gusty north winds. Highs should hit the upper 50s before the front arrives. No rain is expected. Tuesday will be much colder with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s. North winds will lighten up and shift to the south. Seasonable temperatures are expect for the rest of next week, along with breezy winds. Little to no rain chances through Friday and the wildfire danger will remain elevated to high during this period.
