Stuffed dolls given to memory ward patients at Lawton retirement community

LAWTON, Okla. (TNN) - A Lawton couple had a holiday surprise for those living at the Ten Oaks retirement community in Lawton.

They had five stuffed animals and 21 baby dolls to give to those in the community’s memory ward Monday afternoon.

Mark and Vicki Hendron collected the dolls, and presented them in memory of her mom and dad.

“It’s very heartwarming to me. it brings back old memories, but it also brings in the good feelings of passing that onto someone else and sharing the love. that’s the whole point of this season," said Vicki Hendron.

This is the second time they've done this after giving out dolls last year as well.

She says they plan to continue this in the years to come.
