LAWTON, Okla. (TNN) - A Federal Grand Jury has indicted the man accused of robbing a Lawton bank in April.

36-year-old John Brooks has been charged with bank robbery and bomb threat.

Authorities said that he robbed the Southwest Oklahoma Federal Credit Union, using a fake explosive to threaten a teller.

If convicted, Brooks could serve over 20 years in prison and up to 500-thousand dollars in fines.
