LAWTON, Okla. (TNN) - The Comanche County Sheriff said his deputies helped make a major drug bust in Lawton this week.

He said they found *13 pounds* of methamphetamine in a home on Airport Road.

The bust was the culmination of a lengthy investigation and was pulled off in coordination with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and U-S Marshals.

Four people were arrested as a part of the bust -- something Sheriff Kenny Stradley is grateful for.

“This is tremendous, this is one of those things that we like to get, is get these drug dealers off the street. They’re the ones who are ruining our country -- people get on these drugs and start stealing, killing. The root of the biggest evil we have , I call it the Devil’s Candy, is the drug dealers,” said Sheriff Stradley.

Sheriff Stradley said they are not identifying the people arrested at this time, as charges are pending.

He said the drugs were worth about 140-thousand dollars on the street.
