CACHE, Okla. (TNN) -Cache Public Schools have made the decision to go virtual. The announcement was made on the CPS Facebook page Wednesday afternoon by Superintendent Chad Hance .
Hance had this to say, “This decision is based on the high number of positive cases with staff and students recently. We currently have approximately 40 active cases in the last ten days. Our staffing has also become depleted with an overwhelming number of quarantines.”
CPS will be monitoring the case numbers to determine when they will move back to in-person learning on a week-to-week basis. If the current trend of high numbers of active COVID-19 cases continues, expect to stay virtual for the remainder of the semester.
extra-curricular activities scheduled from November 30th through December 4th have been postponed and facilities will be closed, including outside groups.
