LAWTON, Okla. (TNN) - This week, the Oklahoma Health Department officials are hoping to release an app that will make it much easier to schedule a vaccine.
As health departments begin scheduling appointments, there are currently more people trying to sign up than there are vaccines to go around. So, the state created an app that they hope will come out later this week and make the process much simpler.
“Oklahomans will be able to use this app to see approximately where they fall in the vaccine distribution plan and schedule their vaccine appointments when it becomes available to them. We’ll announce how to access the app when it’s fully functional on Thursday,” said Oklahoma State Health Commissioner Dr. Lance Frye.
