LAWTON, Okla. (TNN) - Lawton police are now investigating a man’s death from 2020 as a homicide.
The death occurred on December 16, 2020 at a home near 22nd and Cache Road, but police have only released details to 7News on Tuesday January 5, 2021.
Police say Andrew Franco was working at a handyman at the residence but failed to return to work, which prompted a welfare check.
Police have reported that Franco was found deceased inside the home, but how he was killed hasn’t been released.
A possible suspect was seen leaving the home through the back door and walking northbound.
Police say a key piece of evidence came in several days after Franco was found dead, which led them to believe it was a murder.
Crime Stoppers of Southwest Oklahoma has issued a FIRST 48 reward to catch the person responsible.
This means that under the FIRST 48, whoever comes forward with information on the crime before 4 p.m. Thursday, will receive $5,000.
If you have any information on the murder you can call Crime Stoppers at 355-INFO or submit an anonymous tip on their mobile app.
