Eight new deaths, 250 new COVID-19 cases in Wichita County

CDC recommends masks in public settings

WICHITA COUNTY, Texas (TNN) - The Wichita Falls-Wichita County Public Health District confirmed eight new deaths and 250 new COVID-19 cases in Wichita County on Monday. There were also 253 new recoveries.

There are now a total of 12,595 cases in Wichita County, with 3,329 of them still being active.

There are currently 3,215 patients recovering at home while 114 are in the hospital. There are currently 26 patients in critical condition.

There have been 231 total COVID-19 related deaths, 9,035 recoveries, and 56,925 negative tests in Wichita County.

There are now 683 tests still pending.

The Health District sadly has eight deaths to report today; Case 8,152 (60 - 69), Case 9,624 (80+), Case 9,402 (70 - 79), Case 10,197 (80+), Case 9,381 (70 - 79), Case 10,193 (80+), Case 9,970 (70 - 79) and Case 10,189 (80+).

They received 85 cases Saturday, 25 cases Sunday, and 140 cases today for a total of 250 new cases to report. There are 114 hospitalizations and 253 recoveries to also report today.
