Man sent to hospital after rollover crash on I-44

FLETCHER, Okla. (KSWO) - One person went to the hospital by Survival Flight on Sunday after a vehicle rollover on I-44 near mile marker 61, east of Fletcher.

It happened around 3 p.m.

According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Tommy J. Carruthers of Altus was traveling eastbound and departed the roadway to the right.

A report from OHP says the driver was drunk.

He was taken to Comanche County Memorial Hospital and then OU Medical Center and admitted in fair condition with head, arm and internal injuries.
