Drunk driver causes crash on Trail Road

COMANCHE COUNTY, Okla. (KSWO) - A drunk driver is responsible for crashing into an Elgin Public Schools vehicle.

The crash happened around 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday near the intersection of Trail and Lake Road, south of Elgin.

Officials with Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a red Expedition was headed southbound on Trail Road, when it went left of center, hitting the Elgin school vehicle head on.

Five people in the school vehicle were taken to a hospital, but have since been treated and released.

The driver of the expedition, 39-year-old Nolan Brady of Fletcher, is still in the hospital with injuries, but officials expect charges to be filed.

According to OSCN, Brady is facing another DUI charge from January 2021.
