Daylight Savings Time bill passes Oklahoma House, heads to Senate

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KSWO) - The Oklahoma House voted on Monday, March 22, to end Daylight Savings Time.

House Bill 3146 would allow Oklahomans to vote on a statutory amendment to maintain Central Standard Time.

The change would take effect on Nov. 8, 2022, which is the next time clocks are scheduled to fall back.

The bill now heads to the State Senate.
