Born and raised in the Submarine Capital of the World (Groton, Connecticut), Lexie Walker made Texoma her home back in July of 2019 when she joined the First Alert Weather Team and 2023 she became First Alert Chief Meteorologist. She’s covered all types of weather over the years ranging from wildfires, ice storms, record-breaking cold temperatures, winter storms and of course severe weather!
Her most memorable weather event was the historic October 2020 ice storm across the Southern Plains.
Her passion for weather started at a young age and Lexie went on to pursue that passion at Lyndon State College where she graduated in May of 2019. Being from New England, Lexie loves all things Patriots and Bruins!
