RV fire shut down highway

GERONIMO, Okla._A grassfire sparked by a burning RV on I-44 near Geronimo shut down all lanes of traffic Monday afternoon just before 3:00 p.m.

A family said they were pulling an RV down the highway when they looked back and noticed flames. By the time they pulled over to the shoulder, the RV was engulfed and flames had spread to the grass. Firefighters from Walters and Geronimo responded and shut down traffic near mile marker 27 for about 30 minutes.

No one was hurt and the fire only damaged the RV.
