LAWTON, Okla._The Lawton Salvation Army chapter wants people to be aware of a scam that's using their Angel Tree program as bait.

They say someone is selling Sonic gift cards claiming the money raised from the cards goes to help those children who don't get picked. Lieutenant Israel Roseno of the local chapter says the Salvation Army is not involved with that sale. He says there have been no changes to their angel tree program, which provides Christmas gifts for needy children.
