CACHE, Okla._A trash truck's attached camera saved the day after the garbage it was carrying caught on fire.

The truck's driver called the Cache Fire Department around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday after he noticed there was a fire in the bin. The driver dumped the trash out in a lot near Highway 115 and Coombs Road. The Cache Fire Department had to request a front loader from the Comanche County Western Barn to move the trash around while firefighters sprayed it down.

The flames were put out quickly and the trash company cleaned up the rest of the garbage.

Trash fires are common and cameras have been added to the trucks so the driver can spot the flames.
