ALTUS, Okla._A long standing Oklahoma City canola oil producer is set to move operations to Altus.

The Producers Cooperative Oil Mill has overshadowed Bricktown for decades, but the company shut down processing in April and is now seeking a buyer for the 37-acre property.

The company has purchased land in Altus to eventually relocate all of its operations. The move has dropped the mill's workforce from 80 to 12 employees. The co-op's director says canola production has been on a steady decline and he expects to see it continue.
