LAWTON, Okla._A 10-year-old girl from Lawton has a very big mission: solve world hunger.

Bella Stone is a young philanthropist who is getting a head start on her mission right here in southwest Oklahoma. Every Tuesday, she makes tacos, for what she calls "taco Tuesday".

With her tacos, she fills the bellies of some of Lawton's homeless men and women.

It is almost innate for Bella to want to help those who are less fortunate, and once she gets her mind set on something, she's persistent.

"I just say, 'mom look, can we help them? Can we help them? Can we help them?' I never stop bothering her," Bella said.

For a 10-year-old, Bella Stone has a broad view of the world.

"I see a bunch of homeless people with no food, always saying that they're retired and they have nothing," she explained.

On any given Tuesday, Bella will make about 40 tacos, feeding up to six people. So while her reach may be small, she is making a big impact on the lives she touches.

"She's taken this on as a mission, and she won't stop. She's just outstanding for a 10-year-old child. She's great," James Miller, homeless and partakes in Taco Tuesday.

Bella's tacos are also leaving a big impression and not a single taco goes to waste.

"Taco Bell, and Taco Bueno...you've got some work to do. Bella tacos they're the bomb," Miller said.

"They go ahead and pass them on to the others that have no home or anything," Bella said.

Bella is hopeful others will see how easy it is to make a difference and do what they can to help.

I know I can't solve it all by myself, but i want to be one of the people who helps solve world hunger."

When asked why she does Taco Tuesday, her answer is simple.

"Because god told me to."

Bella is so determined to accomplish her mission, she's hoping to make this a class project. She has also told her mom she will happily eat sandwiches one night a week, just so her mom will keep buying the groceries for her Taco Tuesdays.
