CHATTANOOGA, OK (KSWO) -Two Air Force pilots from Sheppard Air Force Base are safe after they were forced to make an emergency landing Friday morning in Chattanooga.

Officials with Sheppard Air Force Base say just after 9 a.m., the pilots with the 80th Flying Training Wing were on a training mission when they noticed smoke coming from the cockpit of their plane. They had to make an emergency landing at Chattanooga Sky Harbor Airport in Chattanooga.

No one was hurt during the landing and a mechanic is scheduled to take a look at the plane.
