No. 1 MacArthur drills Guthrie 50-0, advances to Round Two

LAWTON, Okla (KSWO) - No. 1 MacArthur is headed back to the second round of the 5A playoffs. The Highlanders crushed Guthrie 50-0 in the opening round.

It was all MacArthur from the start. The Highlanders scored on their first six possessions of the game to jump out to a 43-0 lead. Teddy Thomas finished with three touchdown runs. Anthony Love threw two touchdown passes and run for another.

Mac is now 11-0. They will host No. 6 Collinsville in Round Two. The Cardinals beat the Highlanders 44-27 in the second round a year ago.
