DEL CITY, OK (KSWO) - The Tipton Tigers punched their ticket to a fifth state title game in Class C since 2010 by defeating Kremlin-Hillsdale 46-14.

The final score does not reflect the struggles Tipton dealt with in the first half. The Tigers had problems containing the Kremlin rushing attack, and the Broncs actually took an 8-6 lead in the second quarter. That was until Tipton's SemaJ McBride ran 28 yards for his second touchdown to make it 14-8 at halftime.

Coming out of halftime, it was a different game completely. On the first play, Tipton's Dillon Schmidt broke off a 45 yard run to inside the Kremlin ten-yard line. Shon-Claude Boothe then punched it in to give Tipton a 22-6 lead. The Tigers went on to outscore Kremlin 32-6 in part thanks to two 50-plus yard touchdown throws by Shon-Claude Boothe.

Tipton prepares to face Number One Pond Creek-Hunter for the gold ball in Class C.
