YUKON, Okla (KSWO) - For the third year in a row, Lawton High's football season ended with a disappointing loss to Bixby. The Spartans outscored the Wolverines 22-0 in the 3rd quarter en route to a 39-31 victory.

Lawton High jumped out to a 13-0 lead early in the 1st quarter thanks to a pair of Jayquan Lincoln touchdowns, one on offense and one on defense. Dominick Neal and Tre Curry also found the end zone to give the Wolverines a 25-14 halftime advantage.

The Spartans took over in the 3rd quarter though. Tucker Pawley scored the second of his three touchdowns to pull Bixby within three. Then after recovering a pooch kick, the Spartans went back on the attack. Tanner Griffin hit Nick Swanson with the go-ahead touchdown pass. Bixby never trailed again as they captured their third straight 6A-II Championship.
