Lawton police have confirmed that the body found in East Cache Creek Friday afternoon is the man they have been looking for who disappeared on Thursday.
Police said 59-year-old Marvin Anthony Bell, or "Tony," went missing around 5 a.m. on Thursday. Bell had been diagnosed with Stage 4 Kidney Failure.
Officials told 7News that they received a call that a body had been seen around 1:30 on Friday afternoon. They say they are not certain who made the initial call. Bell's body was pulled from the creek and transported to Oklahoma City to have an autopsy conducted.
No other details have been released about the discovery of Bell.
