UPDATE: Police release victim's name in North Lawton shooting

LAWTON, Ok (RNN Texoma) - Lawton police have identified a woman who was shot earlier this week near Northwest 55th and Euclid Avenue.
LPD says the victim is 23-year-old Florence Groene.
Officers say she was shot around 10:30 Sunday night after someone fired shots into the house. She was taken to an OKC hospital for treatment. Her condition is not known at this time.
Police are continuing to investigate.
