Yayo motorcycle run raises money for 5-year-old boy with cancer

DUNCAN, OK (KSWO)- On Thursday, a Marlow family delivered over four thousand dollars to a boy fighting cancer.
It was all a part of the 13th annual Yayo motorcycle run.
Bikers raised money all year for five-year-old Jose Mitchell who is battling leukemia.
The Varela family said their hope is that the money will help with Jose's medical bills and anything else he may need.

"We went through family that had cancer and what they've been going through too," said Guadalupe Varela. "We just feel like if we can do a little bit to help somebody else it's just an amazing thing I think."

Varela said plans are already underway to help someone else next September.
