Comedian Chad Prather hosts fundraiser show

DUNCAN, OK (KSWO)- Duncan's Simmons Center had a full house Thursday night for a fundraiser show featuring comedian Chad Prather also known as the "Political Cowboy."

Chairman Joe Henderson of Ram Prairie Circuit Finals said this year will mark the seventh year of the finals in Duncan.

Henderson said the goal was to raise five thousand and provide a night full of laughter.

"We know that our community sometimes can't make it to the rodeo so, we like to have an entertainment event to go along with that," said Henderson.

Which is the reason Prather said he agreed to host the show---to raise money for a good cause.

"It's a great opportunity," said Prather. "Folks like these folks and I've been in Duncan before, and you got the opportunity to give back. It feels really good."

The Ram Prairie Circuit Finals Rodeo will be held October 19, 20, & 21st at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the gate.
