Oklahoma Purge Not Likely

Norman, Okla._ Inspiration from the movie "The Purge" has gotten a little too real for some people. Rumors, threatening a real-life purge, a night where all crime is legal, have swirled around social media.

A flier from one of the posts said the purge will take place on August 30th in Oklahoma. Police said the chances of it actually happening are slim, but they are playing it safe and forwarding all information to investigators.

Over the weekend of August 16th, there was a similar threat in Louisville, Kentucky, but it was proven to be a hoax.
