2 missing kids from Florida found safe; alert canceled

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV/Gray News) - The Florida Department of Law Enforcement canceled an alert for two missing children after they were found safe.

Authorities say 9-year-old Marina Barber and 7-year-old Caden Barber Jr. are safe. No other information has yet been shared.

The two children from Big Bend, Florida, were previously believed to be in danger.

FDLE said Friday the children and their mother may have been in Wake County, North Carolina. It’s unclear whether they were located in that area.
